CEO : TAMMIRA PHILIPPE
Tammira is a dynamic business leader and trusted advisor for profit and purpose. Skilled in leading diverse teams and driving growth, she is an experienced CEO, Board Director and strategic advisor to leadership teams. Tammira studied Computer Science and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Texas A&M University not far from her hometown of Houston, TEXAS. After gaining valuable analytical experience at McKinsey & Company, Tammira combined her business acumen with her passion for technology at a global satellite telecommunications start-up in London (where she helped develop the regional business model and navigated the life cycle of a start-up to IPO through bankruptcy and re-emergence under new ownership). Tammira's savvy analytical and interpersonal skills impressed the Head of Latin America who brought her to Miami to lead business development, planning, and negotiations for partnerships with telecommunication providers in Mexico and South America during the dot-com boom. After moving to Silicon Valley to earn her MBA at Stanford's Graduate School of Business in 2002, Tammira returned to McKinsey & Company in Houston. After three more years advising Fortune 500 leaders on strategy, profit maximization and cost efficiency, Tammira joined Bridgeway Capital Management to deliver results for public equity investors and returns for humanity. At Bridgeway, Tammira progressed from strategy and project management to Head of Client Service and Marketing to CEO and Board Director over the course of two decades, helping double the size of the company and build one of the most diverse teams and enviable cultures in the asset management industry. After building an enduring firm by helping raise the profile, diversify the client base, and broaden the capabilities of Bridgeway as CEO, Tammira was drawn back to the fast pace of technology. She is now advising and leading growth stage companies at the intersection of profit and purpose who seek to harness technology as a competitive advantage.
Founder : NICOLAS PHILIPPE
Nicolas studied Applied Technologies in his hometown of Grenoble, FRANCE. After a brief stint in the world of finance in London (where he worked on varied tasks ranging from pricing derivative products to network administration) he engaged in Consulting Services for Latin American companies during the dot-com boom. This was a defining moment where he fundamentally enjoyed the challenges of hearing about customer projects and helping them solve some of their issues.
After moving to Silicon Valley, Nicolas worked for Sun Microsystems, Inc. for a long but fruitful decade in the Identity and Security Management sector, where he worked on performance and customer engineering.
Following the Oracle acquisition, Nicolas branched out and fulfilled a long awaited goal of remodeling a house -- this endeavor taught him plenty in terms of learning about different trades to project planning.
Missing the fast pace of technology, he went to work for a startup company, ForgeRock, and after leading an OEM effort benefiting Salesforce.com, he quickly took the helm of the Engineering group for the Identity Management product. From living the open-source conundrums to managing projects and employees, he supervised 4 major releases of the product before jumping in with both feet in the entrepreneurial world.
